About the Role
We’re seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to support production by delivering high-quality preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns efficiently. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your skills will directly impact site performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Diagnose and repair plant equipment efficiently
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to keep production running
- Manage and prioritise work orders using MEX (CMMS)
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
- Work closely with Production, Planning, and Engineering teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement and KPI achievement
About You:
- Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in manufacturing environments
- Exposure to extrusion and water process equipment (highly regarded)
- Welding skills (MIG, TIG, Arc)
- Experience with CMMS systems (MEX desirable)
- Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team
