EIR Labour Hire is seeking a motivated Assembly Assistant to join a respected manufacturing company supplying high-quality products to the irrigation, mining, civil, and water infrastructure industries.

About the Role

Working within a busy fabrication and manufacturing environment, you'll assist with the assembly of metal and plastic components used across a range of industrial applications. You'll receive full training and support while developing valuable manufacturing and assembly skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble metal and plastic components to specification
• Read and follow job sheets, work instructions, and technical drawings
• Conduct quality inspections, pressure testing, and leak testing
• Label, mark, and prepare finished products for dispatch
• Assist with general workshop and production duties
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace

What We're Looking For

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Mechanically minded with good attention to detail
• Comfortable using measurements and hand tools
• Reliable and committed to workplace safety
• Previous fabrication, sheet metal, assembly, or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
