Role Overview

Part-time Community Engagement Coordinator role supporting a major infrastructure project in Adelaide. $55–$58/hr + super, flexible 4 days/week. Office-based with some site visits and WFH. Great opportunity for someone with stakeholder or community engagement experience to step into a project role.

EIR Labour Hire are currently seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator for a part-time role supporting a commercial construction company. You’ll be working closely with project and stakeholder teams across active sites.

  • This is a 6-month opportunity with flexibility around school hours and a mix of office, site, and WFH. A great chance to step into a role with real responsibility, managing communication between site teams and the public.


How Much?

$55–$58 per hour + super


What Will I Be Doing?

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Managing community enquiries and complaints related to site activities
  • Acting as a key point of contact between site teams and the public
  • Drafting and distributing letter drops and project communications
  • Taking calls and coordinating responses from stakeholders
  • Attending weekly site and project meetings
  • Tracking and managing engagement issues across the job


When?

Hours: Approx. 4 days per week (flexible / school hours friendly)

Start Date: Mid-June 2026

Work Type: 6-month contract


Where?

  • Mix of head office, construction sites, and CBD office locations
  • Some WFH flexibility


Who Will I Be Working With?

You’ll be working alongside supervisors, project teams, and stakeholders within a commercial construction environment. Sites are well-run, and the role plays a key part in keeping communication clear and issues resolved.


To Be Considered, You’ll Need:

  • Experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, or coordination roles
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Ideally IAP2 training or equivalent
  • Approx. 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Construction or project-based experience highly regarded
