Exciting full time permanent opportunity with reputable equipment hire company for an experienced Field Service Technician.
EIR Labour Hire are looking for an experienced Field Service Mechanic to join a leading equipment hire company based out of Albert Park, SA, servicing sites across the region. You’ll be working in the field, carrying out maintenance and repairs on a wide range of hire equipment — a great opportunity for a mechanically minded tradesperson who enjoys variety and autonomy.
What YOU get:
Pay: $42ph with potential overtime opportunities
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am start
Location: Albert Park based + field service work
Position: Permanent, full-time opportunity
What You’ll Be Doing:
Servicing, maintaining and repairing hire equipment on customer sites
Diagnosing and fault finding across a range of machinery
Working on equipment including earthmoving gear, generators, lighting plants and EWP/boom lifts
Completing preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
Providing strong customer service while on site
To Be Considered, You’ll Need:
Relevant mechanical trade qualification
Experience with diesel and petrol engines, hydraulics and pneumatics
Basic electrical fault-finding skills
Driver’s licence (MR/HR highly regarded)
Forklift and EWP tickets (beneficial)
Strong troubleshooting ability and time management skills
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
