EIR Labour Hire is seeking experienced Machine Operators for manufacturing and production facilities. Join a leading manufacturer of plastic pipes and stormwater drainage systems in a stable, long-term role with excellent pay and career progression opportunities.
Location: Coopers Plains, QLD
$50.61/hr + OT + Super
Rotating roster: 2 x 12-hour shifts one week, 5 x 12-hour shifts the next (day & night shifts)
Work in a hot and dusty manufacturing environment producing plastic pipe products from raw granular materials through extrusion and finishing processes. This is a hands-on machine operation role focused on quality, safety, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate extrusion lines, blending systems, and downstream equipment
- Monitor production processes to ensure pipe quality and consistency
- Cut, pack, and strap finished products onto pallets for dispatch
- Maintain safe and efficient machine operation in line with production targets
- Work collaboratively with the team to support continuous improvement
- Assist across site functions as part of an integrated production environment
What You’ll Need:
- Forklift licence (essential)
- Machine operating experience (preferred)
- Previous shift work or night shift experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to work in a hot, physically demanding environment
