Qualified Mine Site Trade Assistants wanted for a 2-day DIDO shutdown at Iron Duke, Whyalla - $42-$48/hr flat rate (depending on experience), all travel hours paid, accommodation and meals provided, with day and night shifts available.

Iron Duke Mine Site, Whyalla SA. DIDO role with all travel hours paid and accommodation provided. Easy 2-day shutdown work with both day and night shift opportunities available.
How Much?
$42.00 - $48.00 per hour (flat rate) + meals provided + all travel hours paid + accommodation provided.
What Will I Be Doing?
Your day-to-day will include:
- Assisting tradespeople with shutdown and maintenance activities on fixed plant equipment
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- General mechanical and maintenance support duties
- Cleaning and preparing work areas and equipment
- Moving materials, tools and components around site
- Working safely in a mining environment
- Following site procedures, permits and safety requirements
- Working closely with supervisors, tradespeople and other crew members

Shifts available:
- Day Shift
- Night Shift
Short-term 2-day DIDO assignment with immediate start requirements.

What Do I Need?
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant in mining, shutdown or heavy industrial environments
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass site medical and drug & alcohol testing if required
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Confined Space, Working at Heights and EWP tickets highly regarded
